Introduction: To build a skill is favorable. The transition of skill into a habit is a game-changer. We can obtain the most significant advantage when the skill develops into a habit. A skill turns into a habit when the skill becomes almost automatic.

Transforming skills into a habit is a success. With an innate understanding of these concepts, people can quickly learn approaches for making significant changes in their lives. People can also know the cause of resistance to understand why they have been behaving in a certain way.

Let’s also understand the difference between habit and skill. Habit is an action done regularly, while skill is the capacity to do something well. A habit is a regular routine that is practiced frequently and hard to stop. Skill is a certain kind of work or activity that requires special training and knowledge. Let me share an example here of savings and investment. Savings is a habit, and investment is a skill.

Why should we care?

1) It’s necessary to inculcate good study habits as they are of immense value to learners because it helps to attain mastery in areas of specialization. Hence, making this part of doing it regularly also determines their success in the future.

2) Both go hand in hand to achieve your desire.

3) Both take time to develop. For, e.g., it takes 6 months to either create a new skill or develop a new habit. Research also says that in case we need to master a skill, we need around 10000 hours.
